Education: BA, Dartmouth; MA, Cambridge; MA and PhD, Harvard
Profile: Professor Blank is Co-Chair of the North American Transportation Competitiveness Research Council. He serves as Senior Fellow at the North American Center for Transborder Studies at Arizona State University, at Columbia University’s Center for Energy, Marine Transport, and Public Policy and at the Centre for International Governance Innovation (CIGI).

The Ross Distinguished Professor of Canada-United States Business and Economic Relations engages in teaching, community outreach, and scholarly activity related to business and economic relations between Canada and the United States. The Ross Professorship is housed in the Center for International Business and is funded through an endowment established by the State of Washington and the Government of Canada. Canada and the United States share the world’s largest trading relationship and business linkages between Washington state and Canada and are growing in importance.
