Lori Daniels joined the College of Business and Economics at Western Washington University in the winter of 2008 as a lecturer. She has more than 25 years teaching experience at various educational institutions, including the University of Calgary and Mount Royal College in Alberta, Canada. Lori also currently teaches part-time at the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) in Vancouver, British Columbia and was the Chair of BCIT’s Business Advisory Committee from 1997-2008.
Over the course of her teaching career, Lori has instructed courses in organizational behaviour, training & development, human resources management, recruitment & selection, and teamwork.
Currently, Lori is the principal of Salish Consulting, a consulting firm specializing in the areas of strategic planning, service quality and organizational effectiveness. Her clients include a wide range of both public and private sector organizations. She has also presented at a number of conferences in the areas of customer service and organizational effectiveness.
Prior to opening her own consulting business, Lori held a number of management positions at several organizations including Texaco Canada Resources, Husky Oil and most recently at BC Hydro where she was the head of the organizational effectiveness group as well as the manager of the customer service call center.
Lori lives in Blaine, WA with her husband Bill and enjoys a number of outside activities including biking, hiking and gardening. |
